Post-doctoral research fellow
A post-doctoral research fellow position is available in the Department of Plant Sciences at North Dakota State University (NDSU) to conduct research on the post-harvest physiology of potato, with a specific emphasis on meristem dormancy and tuber sprouting. The project involves multi-omics (e.g., transcriptomics, metabolomics) data integration to identify and refine the regulatory molecular mechanisms and pathways that could serve as novel targets for manipulation of meristem dormancy in potato tubers. Applicants should have a recent Ph.D. degree in plant physiology, genetics, genomics, molecular biology, computational biology or related field, and strong written and verbal communications skills in English. Candidates with peer-reviewed publications will be preferred.
