Cyanobacterial Synthetic Biology postdoctoral position
The Department of Plant and Microbial Biology at the University of California, Berkeley seeks applications for a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Melis Lab, in the areas of Cyanobacterial Synthetic Biology, at 100% time with an expected start date in 2022-23. The candidate will work to conduct synthetic biology research for the generation of specialty and commodity products, including: (i) Design and development of DNA constructs for high level expression of heterologous genes and recombinant proteins / biosynthetic pathways in cyanobacteria.
