Palm Beach County is seeking a Senior Professional Engineer to manage the design, implementation, and contracts associated with street and intersection lighting, to plan and implement maintenance programs associated with street and intersection lighting, and to support the design of traffic signal systems; and supervise engineering and technical staff.

QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires qualified applicants to possess:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field; minimum of five years (5) years of experience in professional engineering or related engineering work, including one (1) year in the supervisory aspects of the work,
OR
A Related Master’s Degree; minimum of four (4) years of experience in professional engineering or related engineering work, including one (1) year in the supervisory aspects of the work.
Necessary Special Requirement
Qualified candidates must:
Be licensed as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Florida (FL) OR licensed as a P.E. in another state and ability to obtain State of FL P.E. licensure within 11 months of hire.
