The City of Elk Grove is seeking a motivated, solution-oriented, and well-organized professional to serve as its next Traffic Engineering Manager. This key Public Works leadership role oversees the Traffic Engineering Division and its related programs.
The ideal candidate is an experienced and forward-thinking traffic engineer who values mentorship and team development. They will cultivate a collaborative environment focused on strengthening technical expertise in traffic modeling, impact analysis, and emerging mobility strategies. This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys developing people and programs while solving complex engineering challenges. The salary range for this outstanding opportunity is $141,123 - $189,133. Placement within this range is dependent upon qualifications. The City is offering a $15,000 signing bonus. Relocation assistance may be available for the appropriate candidate.
