The Department of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering (CBE) at the University of Maine, the flagship R1 campus of the University of Maine System, invites applications for a tenure-track/tenured position in our chemical engineering program at an assistant, associate, or full professor rank. Appointment at the rank of associate or full professor with immediate tenure in the Department of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering may be considered if the candidate's credentials meet the department's criteria for the rank. Candidates must have expertise in Pulp and Paper and/or Biomass processing. This is a 50% teaching and 50% research position. Affiliation with UMaine research centers such as: Process Development Center (PDC), Forest Bioproducts Research Institute (FBRI), Advanced S
