This position serves as a technical expert in structural engineering of transportation infrastructure. This position will work as part of a team that provides training and customer support to bridge-owning-agency engineers and their consultants on the use of AASHTOWare Bridge Rating software and theory and policy regarding bridge load ratings. They will also engage with other structural engineers and computer programmers to provide interpretation of MDOT and AASHTO Bridge Design Specifications and review of software code (Fortran and Python) used in the design of bridge super and sub-structures.
