The Yale School of Medicine of the Department of Psychiatry is recruiting one highly motivated bioinformatic postdoctoral associate (2-year appointment) to begin immediately, who aspires to become an independent academic researcher in the areas of addiction genetics/epigenetics and computational psychiatry. The postdoctoral associate will work primarily with Dr. Ke Xu, Associate Professor of Psychiatry, on NIH-funded studies of identifying epigenetic (e.g. DNA methylation) alterations associated with substance misuses in humans. The role will involve in analyzing high throughput genomic data including DNA methylation sequencing, RNAseq, single cell RNAseq, performing integrative analyses and delivering analytical results.
