About the Role:  We are looking for a dynamic SAP Software Quality Assurance expert to provide quality assurance and system testing guidance for a greenfield implementation of SAP S/4HANA system through a multi-year, multi-division rollout.  This position will be located at our facility in Elkton, Maryland.

Responsibilities:  
  • Leading cross-functional business process analysis; collaborating with stakeholders across Gore to define overall quality assurance and testing program for the SAP S/4HANA implementation
  • Championing adherence to SQA Best Practices
  • Collaborating with Systems Integrator (SI) on the overall testing and quality assurance program management
  • Leading a team of SQA Analysts that cross functional areas while facilitating integration and collaboration with other teams across the program
  • Managing deliverables and ensure project timelines are on track for the SQA team
  • Defining and implementing overall Test Strategy and Test Approach, as well as the overall Test Plan and schedule leveraging best practices
  • Defining and implementing overall SAP S/4HANA Quality Assurance Strategy and Plan which includes software validation
  • Defining and implementing tools, templates, and standards for testing and quality assurance
  • Developing comprehensive strategy for and implementing a sustainable end state quality assurance program for SAP long term
  • Accountable for the overall success of testing, quality assurance, and software validation of SAP S/4HANA
Qualifications

 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 8 years prior experience in Software Quality Assurance roles on SAP implementations
  • Experience in regulatory compliance for Medical Device or Life Sciences company
  • Deep knowledge in QMS processes and systems
  • A proven track record of high performance with increasing responsibility
  • Proven project leadership and architectural skills, including the ability to gather and elaborate clear business requirements and develop business cases with clear value propositions
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Results oriented, customer focused, team player with excellent written verbal communications skills
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through problem-solving capabilities
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with businesses, customers, vendors, and IT
  • Travel required up to 25%
Desired Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
  • 10 years experience or more in Software Quality Assurance roles on SAP implementations
  • Broad understanding of the ERP Tools, including experience and knowledge of Solution Manager and MF ALM functionality
