Northern Water is seeking an experienced Project Manager to be a part of an exciting opportunity to work on the Northern Integrated Supply Project (NISP) and build Glade Reservoir. This project will bring two new reservoirs to Northern Colorado, supplying 15 Northern Front Range water providers with 40,000 acre-feet of new, reliable water supplies. This position will work alongside the NISP team to build Glade Reservoir, which is being built northwest of Fort Collins. Not only will it provide reliable water supplies, but also add additional recreation opportunities to the region. The Project Manager will review design documents, coordinate field work programs, prepare cash flow projections, plan construction management services, procure consulting services, coordinate contracts, track project process, and assist in the selection of a construction manager and general contractor for Glade Dam and associated facilities. The position will also work with the Colorado Department of Transportation on the relocation of U.S. Highway 287.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering, project management training, and a minimum of 10 years of experience in the management and oversite of water-related construction projects. This position will collaborate with a talented team of engineers and professionals within the Project Management Department to lead the various civil project developments at Northern Water and the Municipal Subdistrict, including NISP and the Collections and Distribution operations for various projects
About Northern Water
Northern Water is a public agency created in 1937 to contract with the federal government to build the Colorado-Big Thompson Project. The C-BT Project collects water west of the Continental Divide and delivers it to Northeastern Colorado for agricultural, municipal, domestic and industrial uses. Northern Water and the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation jointly operate and maintain the C-BT Project.
