Mason & Hanger is currently seeking a dynamic Structural Project Engineer who shares our corporate vision, mission and values.
Responsibilities include planning and designing structural systems for building construction including steel, concrete, and masonry. The ideal candidate will also have demonstrated interpersonal skills through experience interfacing with engineers, architects, and others of varying technical abilities. The ability to work as part of a team is vital. This Structural Project Engineer will primarily focus on structural designs from conceptual level through construction documents and construction administration. This role will vary with some team work and some individually led production, and includes potential to travel for site surveys and investigations to facilitate the structural designs, and to meet with clients and external team members during the design process.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with Structural emphasis
Minimum of 8 years of experience in building designs
Proficiency with Structural Engineering software including ETABS, RISA, RAM Structural System, SAFE or other similar programs
PE or SE Licensure, or ability for licensure examination within 1 year
Ability to obtain a government security clearance
Master’s degree in Civil engineering with Structural emphasis
Experience designing steel, concrete, and masonry buildings
Experience in evaluation and renovation of existing buildings
