The USCG is announcing a challenging Senior Executive Service career opportunity to serve as the Deputy Assistant Commandant for Acquisition/Director of Acquisition Services (CG-9D). The position is responsible for oversight of the modernization and recapitalization of surface; air; command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance; and logistics assets in support of the Service’s multiple maritime missions. This includes executive level program management, resource oversight, and strategic planning for all of the Coast Guard's domestic and international acquisitions, the Research and Development Center/Program, contracting and procurement, and the acquisition support staff.
