Position Overview: The Department of Civil Engineering at Merrimack College invites applications for a one-year, full-time Lecturer term faculty appointment, with teaching expertise in the area(s) of geotechnical engineering, structural engineering, environmental and water resources engineering, or transportation engineering. Although the ideal candidate’s teaching expertise may be broadly characterized within civil engineering, the successful candidate must have the ability to teach undergraduate courses in engineering mechanics. A B.S. in Civil Engineering and a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering are required (ABD considered). The start date for the position is Fall 2019. This position will address the needs of the department due to faculty sabbaticals and is not expected to continue beyond a one academic-year appointment.
