Amec Foster Wheeler Environment & Infrastructure is seeking a CEI Project Administrator / Project Engineer in the Central Florida region to assist in the Construction Engineering & Inspection group in Jacksonville and the surrounding North Florida area.
Receive general instructions regarding assignments and exercise initiative and independent judgment in the solution of work problems
Direct and assign specific tasks to inspectors and assist in all phases of the construction project
Responsible for the progress and final estimates throughout the construction project duration
Skills / Qualifications
Civil Engineering degree plus two (2) years of experience in construction of major road or bridge structures, or for a non-degreed personnel eight (8) years of responsible and related engineering experience, two (2) years of which involved construction of major road or bridge structures
CTQP Final Estimates Level II
FDOT Advanced MOT
Attend CTQP Quality Control Manager Course and pass the examination
Complete the Critical Structures Construction Issues, Self-Study Course and submit the mandatory Certification of Completion form
Must be able to drive a company vehicle and lift at least 50lbs.
Must be able to access project sites as required to observe construction activities and / or contractor's work in progress
Must pass drug test, background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policy
