GUY Engineering, a civil engineering firm, is actively seeking a qualified professional civil engineer with a minimum of 5-10 years’ experience for immediate employment in the Tulsa or Oklahoma City, OK office. The qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate established experience in transportation design and can look forward to an active role on city, county, and state transportation related projects.
This position will involve design of highways, roadways, drainage structures, preparation of reports, and CAD design.
With offices in Tulsa and metro Oklahoma City, GUY provides civil engineering services for clients throughout Oklahoma. You will be an integral part of our team FROM DAY ONE as an employee- owner in our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).

Professional engineering license (able to obtain Oklahoma license)
5-10 years of transportation engineering design experience
Working knowledge and use of the AASHTO Green Book, Roadside Design Guide, Highway Capacity Manual, and MUTCD.
Manage work assignments for Junior Engineers, CAD technicians and other support staff
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and within teams are necessary
Microsoft Office proficiency
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Preferred qualifications or willing to learn:
Proficiency in design using Civil 3D software
Knowledge of ODOT design guidelines and standards
Experience in hydrology/hydraulic design
HEC-RAS and/or HEC-HMS modeling experience
Familiarity with ODOT hydraulic reports and exhibits
NBIS team leader qualified
Familiarity with ODOT bridge inspection requirements
Experience in Oklahoma a plus
Physically capable of performing continuous field work including working at heights and in close quarters, climbing, carrying ladders and gear, working in adverse weather conditions, etc.
