The Village of Little Chute, Wisconsin has an opening for a Civil Municipal Engineer (salary range $62,000 - $84,000 annually). The Village of Little Chute is conveniently located in the heart of the Fox River Valley on the eastern border of the City of Appleton and the Fox River, with a population of approximately 11,000 residents.
This position will report directly to the Village Engineer. A brief overview of the nature of the work includes: design and drafting of public works projects; oversee improvements, extensions, and repairs to the water, sewer, storm sewer, and streets; write contracts; prepare bids for projects; prepare cost estimates; and oversee surveying activities related to design.
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in civil or traffic and transportation engineering is required. A candidate with at least 5 years of experience with a valid Certificate of Registration as a Civil Engineer issued by the Wisconsin State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers is preferred. If licensed in another state, candidates will be asked to obtain a Wisconsin registration.
