Full Time - Experienced
Supervisory and technical engineering work managing or performing roadway and stormwater management related projects. Extensive knowledge in roadway drainage using numerical hydrologic and hydraulic programs to design county projects. Project management duties, obtaining all regulatory permits for stormwater treatment systems and storm sewer designs. The successful candidate should have a strong background working on similar type projects.
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field five (5) years hands-on drainage and stormwater management designs or a combination of education and experience.
Must possess registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of Florida or have the ability to obtain licensure within six months of the date of hiring and maintain registration throughout term of employment.
Floodplain certification preferred.
A comparable amount of education, training, or experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.
