Plan and manage quality engineering projects. Utilize staffing and resource management tools and plans to meet company goals and internal and external customer requirements. Integrate with engineers, technicians, and key suppliers. Manage the day-to-day execution of projects, including problem identification and issue resolution. Focus on results performance, process improvement, initiative, teamwork, and ownership in the Quality Engineering organization.
Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards applicable to development and manufacture of advanced composite products.
Lead Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Design of Experiment (DOE) activities enabling process control and capability improvements.
Design and specify inspection/test methods and equipment supporting Measurement System Analysis yielding repeatable and reproducible measurement systems.
Develop and implement quality assurance control plans and perform statistical analysis (SPC) for development & production programs.
Support MRB (Material Review Board) and Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) processes as part of Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Perform and support internal and external product, process and system audits.
Create documentation for new products that meet the current manufacturing standards for AEC to facilitate efficient integration into a manufacturing environment.

BS Engineering (BS ME, IE or ChemE preferred); equivalent experience may be considered
5+ years' experience in quality/manufacturing industry
Aerospace experience preferred
Experience in ISO 9001/AS9100 Quality Assurance Systems or equivalent
Experience in structured problem solving
Definition of fundamental product/process design and control plans
Measurement and test methods supporting GD&T, Measurement System Analysis (MSA) & metrology techniques
Statistical analysis skills with strong attention to detail
Quality system, process, product, and system auditing
Proven problem solving skills in a teamwork setting
MSOffice proficient (Excel, PowerPoint and Visio skills required)
ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred
Willingness to perform "hands-on" work in dynamic work setting
