Amec Foster Wheeler Environment & Infrastructure is seeking an CEI Senior Inspector to support the US 41 project from Salford Blvd to Sumter Blvd in North Port, FL initially for approximately 1 to 1 ½ years. The ideal candidate is a High school graduate or equivalent plus four (4) years of experience in construction inspection, two (2) years of which shall have been in bridge and/or roadway construction inspection or a Civil Engineering degree and one (1) year of road & bridge CEI experience with the ability to earn additional required qualifications within one year. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Project Administrator.
Key Responsibilities •Perform highly complex technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout •Make and check engineering computations •Inspecting construction work •Conducting field tests •Responsible for coordinating and managing the lower level inspectors
Skills / Qualifications •Must meet one of the following:
